About Tim Gülzow

Tim Gülzow discovered West Coast Swing in 2018—dragged to a party by a friend, without knowing a single step. What immediately hooked him wasn’t the moves, but the feeling: creating something unique in the moment with a complete stranger.

With a background of six years in Ballroom Standard & Latin and five years in Discofox, Tim brings a rich and versatile foundation to his dancing and teaching. Today, he is an Advanced-level dancer and instructor, teaching weekly classes and workshops across Germany and beyond.

His teaching focuses on connection and cause-and-effect awareness. No patterns to memorize, no dogma—just clear concepts that help dancers understand their movement and continue improving on their own terms.

About Mariia Chornous

Mariia’s dance journey began at the age of six with classical and folk styles, before expanding into contemporary, hip hop, and jazz funk. This diverse background shaped her musicality, body control, and expressive style.

Originally from Ukraine and now based in Kraków, her true passion lies in West Coast Swing. As an active competitor on the World Swing Dance Council (WSDC) circuit, she has steadily progressed through the ranks and currently competes in the Intermediate division with 37 points, placing her on the edge of the Advanced level.

With strong results across international events in Europe, Mariia brings both experience and momentum to the dance floor. She combines technical precision with a fresh, evolving style and a deep love for musical interpretation, and enjoys sharing that freedom, creativity, and connection with others.

About Hervé Cabuzel & Orhiane Dang – West Coast Swing Instructors

Hervé and Orhiane are a duo who master both technique and the art of getting an entire room moving. Passionate educators, they teach a West Coast Swing that is precise, musical, and accessible to everyone… then set the dance floor on fire as soon as the music starts.

Orhiane, a multidisciplinary artist at the All-Star level, teaches, judges, and performs West Coast Swing on the international stage. She brings clear technique, strong musicality, and contagious energy.

Hervé, a warm pillar of the social dance scene for over 15 years, is known for his ability to dance with absolutely anyone, always with generosity. His technical rigor, shaped by classical dance and Tango Nuevo, supports a subtle and accessible lead.

Together, they create classes that are serious… but never too serious: structured, supportive, and full of laughter. And above all, once the learning is done, they’re the first to invite every student onto the dance floor to keep the party going late into the night.
