RegisterAbout Tímea Gombos & Zsolt Vajda – West Coast Swing Instructors
From international Sport Aerobics competitions to the WSDC All-Star floor, Timea has built a life around movement, performance, and inspiring others. With foundations in jazz ballet and a decade as a competitive Sport Aerobics athlete, she later became a qualified coach and spent years teaching children Sport Aerobics and Fashion Dance—guiding her teams to an impressive collection of medals. After several salsa-filled years, she discovered West Coast Swing in 2008 and was instantly captivated by its freedom, musicality, and expressive style. Today, Timea is a WSDC All-Star competitor, event judge, and co-lead instructor of the West Coast Swing division at Hungary’s largest dance school (Goldance). She competes and judges at 10–14 events each year while coaching successful dancers across the Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced divisions. Her trademark: athletic precision, expressive movement, and an infectious passion for dance.
Zsolt’s dance journey began at 15, leading him into high-level competitive Latin dancing and a Top 24 finish in the Hungarian national rankings. After years immersed in salsa, he discovered West Coast Swing—and never looked back. Today, Zsolt is a WSDC All-Star competitor, judge, and the lead West Coast Swing instructor at Hungary’s largest dance school (Goldance). Competing and judging at 10–14 international events each year, he brings both experience and a sharp competitive eye to the floor. Together with his team, he coaches successful competitors across the Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced divisions—helping dancers grow, perform, and earn results on the international WCS circuit. His teaching blends strong technique, musicality, and the unmistakable energy of someone who truly lives the dance
Detailed program
Zsolt and Timea will be with us for two days: Saturday 19 September and Sunday 20 September
They will offer beginners class and thematic workshops for experienced West Coast Swing dancers in a relaxed and chill atmosphere. The thematic workshops are intended for dancers with a minimum of one year of regular WCS classes. The main program will take place on Saturday and Sunday
The workshops and bootcamp sessions will be held at Altrimenti, 5 Avenue Marie-Thérèse, Luxembourg-city.
